The Pietrina Diffuser is a unique and thoughtful gift set that's presented in our signature blue gift box. Inside you'll find a:
- Creamware Matchbox
- Marbled terracotta Pietrina Diffusion Stone
- Bottle of Home Fragrance Oil, 15ml
- Numbered authenticity card — making each piece a true collector’s item
How to use:
- Slide open the matchbox drawer to reveal the terracotta diffusion stone nestled inside.
- Add a few drops of fragrance oil directly onto the stone’s surface and allow it to absorb into the terracotta.
- The fragrance will then naturally diffuse gently throughout your space.
Reapply weekly, or as often as desired to maintain the scent. There's no need to flip the stone or replace it. Both the diffusion stone and matchbox are endlessly reusable, designed to be kept and enjoyed forever.
For best results: place the diffuser somewhere with a little airflow, like a doorway, to help lift and carry the fragrance. A side table, desk, or bedside table are also excellent locations for greater diffusion, as are smaller rooms like a bathroom.

An enchanting citrus white floral with notes of Sicilian lemon zest, Calabrian bergamot rind, jasmine, honey, amber, and vanilla. It's an ode to the art of dolce far niente — the sweetness of doing nothing — and an invitation to savour the deliciousness in everyday moments.
Fioranciella is a delicate bouquet of orange blossom, petitgrain and neroli, wrapped in Madagascan vanilla, white musk and soft patchouli — an homage to the traditional Neapolitan pastiera. It is the distinctive balance of floral, citrusy and softly refreshing notes defines Fioranciella. Not overly sweet, but warm, luminous and comforting, reminiscent of a Neapolitan kitchen in spring.

Nestled inside the ceramic matchbox drawer is a naturally porous terracotta diffusion stone. Add a few drops of a Gallia Rae fragrance oil onto the surface and allow to soak into the stone. The scent will naturally diffuse across the room to delicately scent the space.
Top up weekly or as often as desired. No flame, no reeds, no fuss.
Note: The drawer must be open for the fragrance to diffuse. To stop diffusion, simply close the drawer.
A 15ml bottle of Gallia Rae fragrance oil typically lasts around 3–4 months. On first use, add 10–12 drops of oil to saturate the stone. Then reapply 3–5 drops weekly, or as desired, to maintain fragrance. For larger spaces or stronger scent, you may wish to use additional oil or a second diffuser.
Yes, your Pietrina Diffuser is designed to last forever. Your ceramic matchbox and diffusion stone are endlessly reusable - it's only additional bottles of fragrance oil you'll need to purchase again when needed.
We recommend using the Diffusion Stone with only one fragrance oil, as the stone retains the scent. It cannot be 'washed' to remove the fragrance. To use a different fragrance with your matchbox, you will need a new diffusion stone.
Since our Pietrina Diffusion Stones are so effective at holding onto fragrance oil, we don't recommend using more than one fragrance oil on the same stone.
The stone can’t be washed or 'reset', so any new oil added will mix with what’s already absorbed rather than replacing it.
If you’d ever like to use your matchbox with a new fragrance, the best option is to use a second stone. Pietrina Diffusion Stones can be purchased individually here.
Yes, the Matchbox, Diffusion Stone, and fragrance oils are all available to purchase individually. When purchased together as the Pietrina Set, you save £12 compared to buying each piece separately.

The ceramic matchbox is handmade in Stoke-on-Trent, the historic heart of English ceramics. The diffusion stone is handmade by heritage brickmakers in Suffolk. Our fragrance oils are formulated and bottled in Kent and we use locally sourced ingredients wherever possible. Even our beautiful blue gift box packaging is made in England.
